This New York Times article attacks the issues of global warming's negative impacts on some of the beloved natural sites in the world. The design of the article is aesthetically appealing as it presents distinct rows for each location that is of subject and provides a short video in the background. Global warming is a difficult topic to truly understand for many, so the article utilizes the imagery of these beautiful locations in order to evoke the interest of the reader and emphasize the threat to what they currently see. Each location's alluring video also has a powerful title that evokes the reader's interest. For example, "Your Children's Yellowstone will Look Radically Different" will resonate with the older adults who have travelled to Yellowstone national park with their family. The article has immense depth as it allows the reader to choose a location they may be interested in or resonate with, which then leads them to a visualized infographic type page. For each location, the writers provide stories of its significance, attempting to have the readers understand it on a deeper level than it merely being a tourist attraction. They begin with the history of the location, and the writers then slowly transition into more personal stories. The journey in the article begins with the captivating videos and ends with simple pictures accompanied by compassionate stories of these locations.

This article relays the stories of 18 year old girls around the world, spreading the diverse upbringings of people coming to age. It's designed using a magazine aesthetic which resonates with the subject of the article being younger women. The article maintains continuity with the magazine theme as it provides a myriad of pictures for each person with minimal written text. By doing so through an online platform, this allows the article to implement videos to further develop the understanding of each story and accurately visualize them. The various color schemes used in pair with each story allows the readers to recognize the difference among them, as well as subtle text differences that apply to the cultures of the story tellers. The design and visualization support the intention of the article by emphasizing unique characteristics of each story that may be relevant to the story teller's culture, such as their slang. The website is not able to zoom out on pictures to have a better view of the entirety of the article, so the amount of pictures and movement may be distracting from the text or overwhelming.
